“Dynamite Drummer”: The Rolling Stones commemorate Charlie Watts with a touching video montage

The Rolling Stones commemorate their drummer Charlie Watts, who died on Tuesday (August 24), on Twitter. In a video montage that they posted on Friday, they show old recordings of their drummer behind his kit. The first verse of “If You Can’t Rock Me” is recorded: “The band’s on stage and it’s one of those nights, oh yeah / The drummer thinks that he is dynamite, oh yeah.”

One day after Watts death, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards posted their tributes on Instagram. Two photos: one of laughing Charlie, one of the now lonely drums, and the sign: “Closed”.
