An 80-year-old woman and her 56-year-old daughter were found dead in their home located in the Buenos Aires town of Caseros, in the Tres de Febrero district.
They are Luzmila Gauto and Aida Oviedo, who were found handcuffed and stabbed several times, by the son-in-law of one of them who also noticed that the house was in turmoil, so robbery is not ruled out as a motive for the attack.
However, none of the openings in the house were forced, so investigators assume that the victims knew the killer.
From inquiries, detectives working on the case were able to establish a suspect for the double crime. It would be a man nicknamed “the Cordoba”, although they do not have other personal data. They did know that he was a partner of Luzmilda and that the couple separated a year ago.
Neighbors of the women told officers that the wanted man was seen in the area in recent days.
