Dead Space: Live Event This Tuesday Details New Game Production

The broadcast will take place tomorrow on the Twitch platform, at 2:00 pm Brasília time.

We’ll finally see new details about the Dead Space remake. In a post on Twitter, held this Monday (30), the developer responsible for the project, Motive Studio, confirmed that it will make a special broadcast to show more of the horror and sci-fi game.

A transmission will take place tomorrow (the 31st), at 2 pm Brasília time, on the Twitch platform (visit the official channel on this link).

Despite the great news for fans, the company makes it clear that the stream is just an “initial view of the game’s development”, implying that the launch may be a long way off.

The official Microsoft/Xbox Twitter profile took advantage of the announcement to play: “We’re bringing our Plasma Cutters. For precaution”:

Launch of the new Dead Space

The first game in the Dead Space franchise was released in 2008, having been developed by Visceral Games. The story continued in Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3, released in 2011 and 2013. In addition to the main series, we also had spin-offs Dead Space Ignition and Dead Space Extraction. Unfortunately, the studio was closed in the year 2017.

To the surprise of many of the fans, the Dead Space Remake was officially announced by Electronic Arts in July this year, during the EA Play conference. At the time, the company released a brief teaser, showing just a few gloomy gameplay scenarios and a glimpse of a necromorph, followed by the iconic phrase “Cut off their limbs”.

According to insider Jeff Grubb (who has already agreed on the launch of the new Forza Horizon 5 for Xbox and also on the postponement of Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 5), Electronic Arts hopes to release the new Dead Space by the end of 2022.
