Lenovo notebook with OLED display and AMD CPU: The Yoga Slim 7 Pro in the lab

A strong AMD processor, a great OLED display and high-quality workmanship: In the test, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro proved to be a great all-rounder that is also ideal for image and video editing. It is a pity, however, that the OLED screen reflects heavily. And when it comes to interfaces, Lenovo only offers the essentials. A display, for example, can only be connected via one of the two USB-C ports (e.g. via an adapter) – and USB-A is only available once. A LAN connection and HDMI are missing here. Apart from the display frame, which is made of glass, the laptop body is made of aluminum.

Our verdict at the time of testing

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro (14ACH5O) sets new standards in terms of performance and display in the test. The interaction of AMD processor, SSD and large working memory not only allows simple office work, but also effective media processing and some gaming. The OLED screen impresses with its brilliant colors and high resolution, but it reflects visibly. The battery just gets the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro through the working day. The equipment scores with a webcam including face recognition and modern wireless standards, but lacks dedicated video interfaces or LAN. The very good workmanship is to be expected in view of the quite high purchase price.
