BMW M3 Touring spotted in green and on the loose

The 2023 BMW M3 Touring has just been presented. The Bavarian brand has published many photos, each as beautiful as the other, to show it to us. However, forget the official photos: nothing beats photos of the car “free”.

And precisely these shots show a model driving in a street, in order to get a better idea of its appearance in traffic.

This M3 Touring appears to be wearing BMW’s Isle of Man Green color, or at least a very similar shade. It rolls on black rims with an intricate spoke pattern, with dark blue brake calipers visible behind.

The M3 Touring is exclusively offered in Competition version. This gives it a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine with straight six cylinders developing 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. The station wagon is only offered with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Drivers can select a mode that sends all power to the rear wheels.

This powertrain allows the M3 Touring to reach 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. Top speed is limited to 249 km/h, but the optional M Driver Pack increases the top speed to 280 km/h.

The M3 Touring features a different cabin layout than the saloon version. There is a large curved panel that combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system.

Compared to a regular 3 Series Touring, the M3 is 8.38 centimeters longer and 7.62 centimeters wider. It is around 90 kilos heavier than an M3 sedan. When the rear seats are lowered, the model offers 1509 liters of rear cargo space.

As a reminder, BMW will start taking orders for the BMW M3 Touring in September, with deliveries beginning in December. Prices start at 111,950 euros on the French market.
