Viktoria Berlin has been relegated from the 3rd division after just one year. On the last day of the game, the capital city lost to SV Meppen in a very turbulent game 3:4. However, a narrow victory would not have helped the capitals either, because SC Verl, who have the significantly better goal difference on their side, scored a point (1:1) in the parallel game against MSV Duisburg and thus crowned their final sprint of four wins without defeat with the relegation, which means that the East Westphalia can go into their third season as a third division team.

Berlin, which started the season so furiously and clearly defeated the later top teams Kaiserslautern and Braunschweig (4-0 each), was only able to win four games in the second half of the season and now has to face Türkgücü Munich, co-promoted Havelse and Würzburg back to the regional league.

1860 Munich and top scorer Bär secure the DFB Cup starting place

In the three-way battle for fourth place, which entitles them to take part in the DFB Cup next season, 1860 Munich triumphed furiously. The Lions defeated Borussia Dortmund II 6:3. Lex and Bär, who became the sole top scorer as a result, gave Giesinger the lead, Papadopoulos and Njinmah struck back before the break. In a then wild second round, Biankadi, Bär, Deichmann and Dressel increased the result, Bah-Traore managed to make it 3:5. As in the previous season, 1860 Munich is in fourth place and will start in the DFB Cup next season.

Waldhof Mannheim and VfL Osnabrück went empty-handed. The Kurpfälzer celebrated a peat festival themselves and gave the already relegated TSV Havelse seven goals. After all, Mannheim pushed past Osnabrück when coach Patrick Glöckner said goodbye. The purple-whites had started furiously against 1. FC Magdeburg, who had initially changed eight positions, through Klaas. But Conteh equalized the lead after five minutes just two pointer turns later. In the second round, the enthusiastic FCM turned up the heat and scored a 5:1 victory.

Zwickau sends Würzburg into the regional league with a pack

There were also plenty of goals in Zwickau: FSV sent the Würzburger Kickers into the regional league with a 7-0 win, Baumann scored twice. Eintracht Braunschweig, who have been promoted since Sunday, suffered a 1-0 defeat against Cologne, which was not significant in view of the exuberant celebrations. In addition: Halle and Wehen Wiesbaden drew 1-1, Saarbrücken was not able to end the season in a friendly manner as hoped, but remained without a three for the seventh time in a row in the 1-1 draw in Freiburg.
