Virtual celebration of the Petroleum Union for Children’s Day

The children of the affiliates enjoyed a new celebration of Children’s Day, organized by the Oil Union. Since Claudio Vidal took over at the helm, the importance of offering a space of containment and recreation not only for the workers, but also for their families, was revalued, uninterruptedly organizing the allusive celebrations.

Respecting preventive protocols, the celebration was held again virtually. However, this did not deprive the tankers of being able to celebrate their day with everything. There were jugglers, clowns, comedians, fabric acrobats, live bands and important awards, among which were Play Station 4 consoles, televisions, tablets and electric skates.

The transmission, carried out through the Petroleros Santa Cruz fan page, and replicated in different media throughout the province, had a constant of more than a thousand viewers, along with hundreds of reactions and comments from Facebook users.

The members of Pico Truncado, Las Heras, Caleta Olivia and Río Gallegos, interacted with the conductors Lorena Turano and Maxi Trinqui, plus the contribution of Marceyaso in animation. Los Esenciales del Ritmo accompanied with their music all day, and the renowned comedian Rodrigo Vagoneta made fun interventions by streaming.

After the event, the General Secretary of the Petroleum Union, Claudio Vidal, highlighted the importance of being able to generate recreational spaces for the little ones in these difficult times, looking for alternatives to be able to specify the objectives proposed for the growth of the institution.
