Tomorrow 30,000 anti-COVID doses arrive in Durango to vaccinate children from 5 to 11 years old

In relation to the seventh stage of the National Vaccination Plan against Covid-19, the governor of Durango, José Rosas Aispuro Torres, reported that 30,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine will arrive in the state tomorrow.

The president indicated that in the coming days it will be defined to which municipalities they will be distributed and added that the biological ones are considered to be applied for the first time to boys and girls from 5 to 11 years of age as well as for second doses to adolescents from 12 to 17 years.

In recent days, Hugo López-Gatell Ramírez, Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion in Mexico, reported that between this Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24, just over 2 million doses would arrive to vaccinate against COVID-19 to minors. between 5 and 11 years.

For his part, Aispuro Torres said that Durango had a stock of vaccines but that they were waiting for the Mexican government to send them the vials of the diluent, in this case sodium chloride.
