They extended the term of detention of the suspects for the murder of police officer David Florido. Among the detainees is the alleged murderer identified as Juan González Quezada and an official of the Eighth Guarantee Court of Santiago, accused of concealment.

“After a series of proceedings still in progress, the extension of the detention of the three people detained in the framework of the investigation of the murder of carabinero David Florido was requested,” said Toledo.

“The court agreed to this request to extend the detention, and the hearing will be held for its corresponding formalization, next Monday the 20th,” added the persecutor.

Suspect in the murder of David Florido tried to flee to Argentina

Let us remember that David Florido Cisterna was shot in the head during a police procedure.

Among those accused is Juan Israel Gonzalez Quezada the alleged murderer, who was captured this Friday by an OS-9 team in Colina.

According to the general director of the Carabineros, Ricardo Yanez, the defendant intended to escape to Argentina.

Two other people will also be charged with concealment at Monday’s hearing.

The latter confessed that she hid González Quezada in a home in the Metropolitan region and helped him escape from the capital.

While the third detainee would be a friend of the accused, who hid him for a few days in the O’Higgins region and accompanied him when he was captured by uniformed personnel.
