He’s not going to give a driving lesson anytime soon. Thursday, November 24, 2022, during a control operation at Cergy driving license examination center (Val d’Oise), a driving school instructor tested positive for narcotics. The latter was thus notified of a 6-month suspension from practice.

This action, carried out by the police and agents of the traffic education office, under the authority of the Val-d’Oise prefecturehad the following objectives: the detection of narcotics, the fight against identity fraud and the compliance control of driving school vehicles and double rental cars

“For everyone’s safety, these unannounced control operations will be repeated very regularly in all the examination centers of Val d’Oise”, warns the prefecture of Val-d’Oise.

Thus, 63 narcotics screenings including 41 candidates and 22 monitors were carried out for a single positive control, the monitor.

In addition, the police impounded a vehicle for lack of technical control, while another driving instructor was in an illegal situation of driving instruction.

The prefecture also suspended driving school approval.
