Thousands of people participated in the pilgrimage of Corpus Christi that this Saturday toured the streets of the city, within the framework of the festivity of the Catholic Church destined to venerate the Eucharist.
The traditional procession was attended by the faithful who gathered to “celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ”.
“Thousands of faithful accompanied the Blessed Sacrament together with the synodal members who finished a new session of the Synod”, they highlighted from the bishopric about the pilgrimage.
The feast of Corpus Christi in Mar del Plata ended with the celebration of the Eucharist in the Cathedral, with a Mass presided over by Bishop Monsignor Gabriel Masteralong with the clergy of the city and the entire community.
In his homily, the bishop focused his reflection on “the mystery of the real presence of the Lord as living bread that came down from heaven.”
