It’s official! Coahuila ends the use of face masks in open spaces

The state government through the Ministry of Health made official this Monday the elimination of the face mask in the open spaces of Coahuila.

Two years after the first positive case of Covid-19 was reported in this entity, this afternoon Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís announced that today he was authorized to end the use of masks outdoors, thus endorsing the statement he gave in the past Friday the Secretary of Health, Roberto Bernal Gómez, in the sense of stopping wearing the mask in open spaces.

The state president clarified that this measure must be carried out in an orderly manner, in addition to clarifying that the Regional Health Subcommittees will have to define the strategies to be followed for those activities sports and shows, among others that take place outdoors and that generate massive concentrations of people.
