Horacio Rodríguez Larreta: "From tomorrow, the use of chinstraps in the open air will no longer be mandatory"

The head of the Buenos Aires government, Horacio Rodríguez Larretaannounced this Tuesday the elimination of the use of face masks outdoors. The news was released later on a tour of the coronavirus vaccination center that works in River Plate.

“The use of a mask is no longer mandatory outdoors, as long as there are no crowds or crowds of people”said Rodríguez Larreta. “We always make decisions based on data and evidence. This is not the time to loosen up, let’s respect distances”added.

Since the beginning of the vaccination plan against Covid-19 in the City, 2,410,632 porteños applied one dose and 2,125,074 completed the immunization with the second. In this way, they already add 4,535,706 vaccines applied in the Buenos Aires district.
