Drug trafficking: deal points dismantled in Saint-Nazaire and Trignac, six men indicted

A major legal operation on Tuesday June 21, 2022 made it possible to dismantle three deal points in Saint-Nazaire and Trignac (Loire-Atlantique).

After several months of investigation, several deal points, near the footbridge and in the city center of Trignac and in the Penhoët district have been identified.

A dozen individuals involved at various levels in the resale network of narcotics very structured have been identified.

More than 70 agents mobilized

In the early morning of Tuesday, they were arrested by 50 soldiers from the gendarmerie group and units from the Saint-Nazaire company and around twenty from the Saint-Nazaire police station.

About fifteen people getting supplies were also heard.

A substantial quantity of narcotics and money was discovered.

The deal points had been operating daily since 2021. Facts denounced by local residents who attended the round trips of customers.

They generated a significant turnover and provided the people involved with a very comfortable lifestyle.

Five men taken into custody

Six people were brought before the investigating magistrate of the Saint-Nazaire public prosecutor’s office this Thursday, June 23, 2022. Five were placed in custody and the last under judicial control.
