Alert for tropical storm formation "Howard"; Will it affect Jalisco?

The National Meteorological Service (SMN), dependent on the National Water Commission (Conagua), warned of the formation of tropical storm “Howard” in the Pacific this Saturday, at approximately 7:00 p.m.

“Howard”, also called Tropical Depression Nine-Ecurrently It is located 545 km south-southwest of Manzanillo, Colima and 585 km south of Playa Pérula, Jalisco.

According to the forecast, “Howard” will remain a tropical storm until Thursday, August 11, so the general population is asked to take extreme precautions in the areas of the states mentioned due to rain, wind and waves (including maritime navigation) and address the recommendations issued by the authorities of the National Civil Protection System, in each entity.
