Mexico reports 1,046 deaths from COVID in 24 hours


As of this Tuesday, September 14, Mexico accumulated 269,015 deaths from COVID-19; that is, 1,046 more deaths than the previous day, reported the Ministry of Health. It was also detailed that in the last 24 hours, the country added 12,929 infections, to give a total of 3,528,972 confirmed cases.

Through the technical report, the health authorities detailed that the first 10 entities that accumulate the highest number of cases are Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Puebla, Veracruz, Sonora and San Luis Potosí , which together make up 66% of all accumulated cases registered in the country.

Vaccination of Mexico against COVID-19

Regarding the details of the vaccination plan, the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell, reported that 92 million 749 thousand 295 biologicals have been applied since the beginning of the pandemic. He also indicated that at the cutoff on Monday, September 13, 668,700 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were applied.
