Once again, Brazilian Jaqueline Mourão won the silver medal in the regional five-kilometer cross-country ski classic race being held in Zlabtibor, Serbia. This time, it took 14:18.5 to climb to the second highest place on the podium, again only behind the Spanish Marta Ramos with 14min09s0. The competition counts points for the Brazilian ranking, from which the two classified for the Beijing 2022 Winter Games will come out. The Olympics will run from February 4th to 20th and will have special coverage from the OTD.
In addition to Jaqueline Mourão, and her silver medal, three other Brazilian women returned to compete in the cross-country ski region in Serbia. Bruna Moura was the best of them again and was sixth with a time of 15min45s2. Duda Ribeira appeared soon after, the seventh best with 15:46.3 on the clock. Mirlene Piccin was in tenth, among the fifteen competitors, with 16min30s2. The third place was the Lithuanian Samanta Krampe, recording a time of 14:41.4. Her compatriot, Estere Volfa, bronze medalist the day before, finished in four with 14:49.0.

Also with an eye on the Beijing 2022 Winter Games, Sabrina Cass, with an early place for China, did not make it to the final of the last test of the Freestyle Ski World Cup held in Moguls Deer Valley, in the United States. He left there with a 27th place. In Laax, Switzerland, Augustinho Teixeira would compete this Thursday in the Snowboard World Cup, at Halfpipe. The race counts points for the Olympics and is qualifying for the last stage of the World Cup. The Brazilian needs at least 18 FIS points. Biatlo e Snowboard Cross
In Slovenia, Brazil was represented by Matheus Vasconcelos and Cláudio Gustavo Oliveira in the third stage of the IBU Junior Biathlon Cup held in Pokljuka. Matheus was the better of the two and took 61st place, arriving 4min27s3 behind champion Jonas Marecek. The Czech clocked 26min26s5. Cláudio Gustavo, who debuted in the season, was in 99th and penultimate place 12min55s5 behind the winner. Finally, in Sunshine Village, Canada, Noah Bethonico and Zion Bethonico would be in the North American Snowboard Cross Cup. These two competitions do not count towards the race for the Beijing 2022 Winter Games.
