Le corned beef sandwich, ou sandwich au pastrami, is not well known in France but that should change in Paris. Moses Sfez, World Lobster Roll Champion (brioche bread, lobster and mayonnaise) in 2018, presents the little sister of his restaurant Homer avec Janet which he has just opened in the 4th arrondissement.

Inspired by the know-how of Jewish Deli of the 1950s, Janet by Homer is bringing the corned beef sandwich up to date: a meat from bœuf Wagyu prepared in a brine of spices, boiled then smoked according to the rules of the art, resulting in a large piece of meat served hot or lukewarm, cut to order with a rye brioche and mustard.

In addition to the “classic”, Janet also offers the “doggy”, a hot dog, and the “bbq beef roll” confit and caramelized in a homemade BBQ sauce.

Something to appeal to lovers of street food, the curious in search of new
discoveries, lovers of New York or those nostalgic for Deli 50′.
