This Thursday, November 24, Camilla Parker Bowles joined the children and staff of the Bernardo’s association in London.

Camille Parker Bowles took part in a very special picnic this Thursday, November 24. The Queen Consort visited one of the Bernardo’s charity crèches to pass on their love for Paddington Bear. Surrounded by children and staff, the wife of King Charles III was able, on site, to taste marmalade sandwiches and listen to a story of Paddington bear, read by Hugh Bonneville, star of the film “Paddington”. The latter was later joined by Madeleine Harris, who plays Mrs. Brown as well as Karen Jankel, daughter of Paddington author Michael Bond.

The official account of the royal family has also shared several photos of the event. We see the queen consort with a stuffed animal on her knees, then she helped distribute the toys to the children. These bears had been deposited by the thousands in front of the royal residences in homage to Queen Elizabeth II last September. On October 15, Camilla Parker Bowles posed among the stuffed animals to announce that they were going to be cleaned and then donated to the children’s charity Bernardo’s. So it’s done. As they left the scene, the Queen Consort told reporters the bears were “all gone”, as seen in a video shared on Twitter by journalist Lizzie Robinson.

Camilla Parker Bowles is thus on all fronts since a few days earlier, she participated in the reception of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa for his first State visit of the reign of Charles III. A ceremony during which Kate Middleton and Prince William played an important role.
