Covid in Mexico: 12,929 new infections are reported in the last 24 hours

CITY OF MEXICO.-To the cut of information of this September 14, 2021, in Mexico they have confirmed 3 million 528 thousand 972 total cases and 269,015 total deaths from Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.

In the last 24 hours, 12,929 new infections were reported and 1,046 new deaths for this disease.

The Ministry of Health indicates that the incidence rate of accumulated cases is 2,736.2 per 100,000 inhabitants. The distribution by sex in confirmed cases shows an equal predominance in men (50 percent) and in women (50 percent).

The first 10 entities that accumulate the greater number of cases son: Mexico City, Mexico state, New Lion, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Puebla, Veracruz, Sonora and San Luis Potosí, which together make up more than two thirds (66 percent) of all accumulated cases registered in the Country.

In the last five weeks, most cases are present in the groups from 18 to 29 years old, followed by the group of 30 to 39 years and 40 to 49 years.
