Coronavirus in Argentina.
This Friday, January 14, the National Ministry of Health reported that 139,853 new coronavirus infections and another 96 deaths were registered in the last 24 hours. This figure exceeded the absolute record since the pandemic began in March 2020.
In any case, the number of deaths has decreased exponentially since this Thursday, when 139 were registered.
In the last week 980 thousand were registered. 936,382 people are considered active cases and there are a total of 5,878,689 recovered.
Thus, there are 117,901 deaths officially registered at the national level and 6,932,972 those infected since the start of the pandemic, respectively.
In addition, from the health portfolio they confirmed that this Friday there are 2,268 hospitalized for coronavirus in intensive care, with a total occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sector, for all pathologies, of 41.7% nationwide.
