SV Sandhausen will have to do without its goalkeeping coach on Saturday. Daniel Ischdonat was banned from HSV after his red card.
Red in stoppage time: Sandhausen’s goalkeeping coach Daniel Ischdonat in the game at Hamburger SV.
According to the DFB, Ischdonat “pushed the coaching chair out of the coaching zone onto the field” at the second division Saturday night game in Hamburg after HSV scored the 2-1 winning goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time. Referee Bastian Dankert then showed Ischdonat red.
The DFB sports court has now imposed an indoor ban on the goalkeeping coach for the upcoming SVS home game against 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday (1.30 p.m., LIVE! At kicker).
For Ischdonat, who agreed to the ruling, this means that he is not allowed to be in the interior, in the changing rooms, in the players’ tunnel or in the cabin corridor – starting half an hour before arrival to half an hour after the final whistle. During this time he was not allowed to “come into direct or indirect contact with the team,” according to the DFB.
