Campus Party Announces Return with Hybrid Participation System

Event will feature Free Fire Championship, Drone Racing, Campus Job for Professionals and more; check out

A Campus Party Brazil, the biggest technology event in Brazil, announced the return of the event in a hybrid edition in November: on the 11th and 12th the programming will be entirely digital; between 13 and 15, the Arena and Camping at the Anhembi events center will be open to all campus members. The 13th edition of the event will follow all the sanitary protocols established by the city hall and government of the State of São Paulo and, therefore, the ticket limit will be for up to 3,000 people, with more than 700 people being able to camp.

A CPBR13 it will feature two completely digital stages, focusing on creativity, entertainment, education and cities. In the physical structure, the main stage will bring the relevant topics covered in the Campus Party. Another space, in partnership with the sebrae, called the factory of entrepreneurs, will be dedicated to issues related to business development and programs promoted by the entity within the CPBR. In addition Campus it will also have a space for holding workshops and another multipurpose space for holding hackatons, game jams and for Campus Jobs. The latter will bring together lectures and mentorships with Bruno Souza, the “JavaMan”, with a focus on the universe of developers, and with the team from Ricardo Cappra, in this case, aimed at data analysts.

“The expectation for this edition is to make a call to the campus community, as we will have a GameJam based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, in partnership with the Government of São Paulo. The Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology of the State of São Paulo, Patricia Ellen, affirms that the realization of the Campus Party marks the safe resumption of a symbolic event of one of the segments that grew the most during the pandemic. “We are working on a partnership that will generate impact for young people and gamers in São Paulo and Brazil. we will have a Game Jam it is a Free Fire Championship to motivate public school students, especially ETECs and FATECs. Ticket sales are now open. The first lot, which runs until October 23, is worth R$175 just for admission. The ticket price for the second lot, which will run until November 7, will be R$200. Campus Party Brazil Events

Free Fire Championship

In partnership with the ETECs and FATECs, Campus Party will promote a championship of Free Fire Battlegrounds, a survival game Battle Royale, in which the objective is to survive in a map full of other players. The competition promoted by CPBR13 will take place in the following categories: College for players over 16; and Junior, for players aged 12 to 15 years. The latter requires the presence of a teacher as a coach. The qualifying stages will be online and the final will take place in person at Anhembi, on November 15th. The total prize pool will be R$10 thousand, divided as follows: the champion will receive the prize of R$5,000 reais; the second place will earn R$ 3 thousand reais; and third place, R$2 thousand. MakerSpace and Maker Truck Project

In this edition of Campus Party, it will make available, in partnership with Zumaq, Universo Criatividade and Mirante Lab, an exclusive space focused on expanding conversations about maker and teaching campus members about the production and manufacturing process of products. In addition, the Creative Universe will bring to CPBR its Maker Truck, a mobile laboratory for innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.

The objective of this action is to build projects, share knowledge and foster an entrepreneurial vision through lectures, workshops and workshops that will promote technological experiences to deepen the flow of instinctive creativity and develop innovative projects.

360º Startup and Business Marathon

Campus Party will present in this edition of the event the Startup 360º. The program created by Sebrae aims to promote the training of startups, strengthen growth and foster entrepreneurship. The projects selected in this edition of CPBR will receive a series of training courses offered by Sebrae. Innovative projects from startups at an early or advanced stage can participate.

Also in this edition of CPBR, the Business Marathon will take place. The project focuses on the development of teams that are in the design phase. The objective is to prepare teams in various themes related to entrepreneurship and innovation so that they can grow and develop.

Campus Jobs

This edition will feature Campus Jobs, an initiative within CPBR that aims to build the career development of campusers who want to acquire new knowledge. This is an open space for all participants and lectures and workshops will be presented in the innovation arena.

Arena Drone

In partnership with Mirante Lab, Campus Party will designate a space for drone workshops, races, battles and various challenges, in which any visitor can participate. Arena Drone will give people the opportunity to experience obstacle courses and other activities.
