Apple’s Fitness Plus exercise system will receive new features in the short term and will also expand to other countries, including Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
One of the new features of Fitness Plus is called Guided Meditation, which will have nine predetermined themes that users can choose from and which will show various videos made by specialized instructors. Some of the themes include gratitude, wisdom, calm, focus and resilience, and the videos will last from five to 20 minutes.
In addition to the video format, the guided meditations will be available in audio for the Apple Watch. Among the instructors there are names like Jessica Skyke, Dustin Brown or Christian Howard, all with extensive experience in this type of practice.
In addition to Guided Meditation, Pilates will be added to Fitness Plus, in sessions that will last 10, 20 or 30 minutes, and which will also be performed by experts in the field. The goal of Apple is that any user can carry out this type of low-impact training regardless of their experience or physical condition.
Before the end of 2021, Fitness Plus will receive a group work option with which up to 32 people can be in contact via group messaging or a FaceTime call on any Apple device.
Fitness Plus will arrive in these 15 new countries before the end of the year: Saudi Arabia, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, France, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. Its price will be $ 9.99 per month or $ 79.99 per year.
And as is customary in Apple services, a few free months are included in the purchase of a device; in this case, three months when you buy an Apple Watch Series 3 or newer.
