Alberto Fernandez will meet next February 3 in the Kremlin, Moscow, with the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The meeting was confirmed this Friday afternoon and will take place before the Argentine president travels to China to meet with Xi Jinping, Chinese president.
According to presidential sources, the meeting was pending and the specific issues will be about “collaboration on vaccines, investments and collaboration on science and topics of common interest”. The stopover in Russia will be 48 hours.
Vladimir Putin had already invited Alberto Fernandez in 2021, but the Argentine president did not travel to Russia due to epidemiological difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic. That is why now the Argentine president, before traveling to China, will meet with Putin.
