What time is the curfew in my region?
In the Tarapacá and Metropolitan regions, the curfew is in force from the ten O’clock.

The authorities extended the State of Catastrophe until September 30th, so the curfew should last until that date. However, depending on the conditions of the pandemic, they could extend it again.
How much are the fines for leaving without permission?
The fines range between 20 UTM and 200 UTM. In other words, you will have to fork out between $ 1,035,960 and $ 10,359,600.

What permits can I ask for to go out during curfew?
To be able to transit during curfew hours you must request a safe passage on the Virtual Police Station. There are four that you can request.
The first is the Collective safe conduct for essential services. This document is valid for a maximum of 15 days and is the only one that you cannot request directly, but must be done by a representative of the company where you work. To carry out the procedure, this person must know your full name, RUT and date of birth.
The second is a individual pass for medical treatment, with which you can move to a health facility.
The third is a individual moving pass, which lasts 24 hours if the change of house is in the same region and 48 hours if you have to travel to a different one.
The fourth is the Individual safe-conduct for funeral procedures of a direct relative. This permit lasts for 24 hours if the funeral is in another region, but if it is in the same region where you are, it is valid for five hours.
Are there Transantiago and Metro during curfew hours?
Neither the Transantiago nor the Metro are available during curfew. The service of the first one ends at 10:00 p.m. and that of the second one at 9:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
Can they fine people in a street situation?
They must apply a special protocol regarding people who live on the street. For this reason, they can control them, but they cannot fine or detain them for breaking the curfew.
