The climate of tension that surrounds the elections in Corrientes, after the bullet that the provincial deputy Miguel Arias received, added a new chapter this Sunday when Gustavo Aromí, candidate for mayor for the Frente de Todos (FdT) in the city of Mburucuyá, He denounced that the current communal chief, the radical Pablo Guastavino, who is going for his re-election, wanted to run him over.

The incident took place around noon in the Laguna Aguirre neighborhood of the town, located 155 kilometers from the provincial capital, when Aromí, who is a councilor, arrived with his truck to look for a group of people that he was going to take to vote and vote. He parked behind Guastavino’s vehicle.

“He saw me and insulted me, and then he backed up with his truck and hit his truck three times in the front of mine,” said the justicialist candidate in dialogue with TN.com.ar.
