Borussia Dortmund has to pay a fine for two incidents at the DFB Cup first round match.
BVB is celebrating their second round entry in the DFB Cup. The game in Wiesbaden now had a minor aftermath.
The DFB sports court punished two “cases of unsportsmanlike conduct” on Wednesday in the 3-0 away win over third division SV Wehen Wiesbaden on August 7, 2021.
According to the association, a spectator wearing a BVB jersey ran onto the field in the 89th minute, causing the game to be briefly interrupted. In addition, a firecracker exploded in the guest block in stoppage time.
BVB now has to pay a total of 4000 euros fine for this and has already approved this ruling. In the second round, coach Marco Rose’s team will meet second division club FC Ingolstadt on October 26th (8pm, LIVE! At kicker).
