Top 10 record in six decades for Elton John

With the song Cold Heart performed in duet with Dua Lipa, artist Elton John now claims singles listed in the UK musical top 10 in six different decades.

This is a record, according to an article published in The Guardian this morning. Elton John has now done better than Elvis, Cliff Richard and Michael Jackson, it says in this report.

The track, remixed by Australian electro trio Pnau, is a transplanting of four earlier songs by Elton John, namely Sacrifice, Kiss the Bride, Where’s the Shoorah and Rocket Man.

Among the singer’s other titles that have reached the top 10 in the UK, we note Step Into Christmas, I Want Love, Your Song, Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.

Cold Heart is the first single a new album, The Lockdown Sessions recorded by Sir Elton with various stars of the song and due out on October 22.

Remember that following a fall that occurred this summer, the singer-songwriter postponed several dates for his world farewell tour.
