This feature film is the result of a collaboration between Annie Clark and her friend Carrie Brownstein, Sleater-Kinney guitarist., who decided to film a documentary that portrayed what happens behind the scenes, during the most recent tour of St. Vincent.
At the beginning of this project, the artist duo decided the last thing they wanted to do was another conventional and predictable performance of the description of a rock star that was equal to the others, so it is a version of his own behind the scenes.
