Four young and relatively unknown actors will play the iconic Beatles Pual McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Star in Midas Man, the film that will investigate the life of representative Brian Epstein, considered the discoverer of the band and who is credited with its monumental success.
Agree Deadline, will be Jonah Lees (Letter to the king, 2020) who will play John Lennon, while musician Blake Richardson will cover Paul McCartney. For his part, Leo Harvey Elledge (Creation Stories, 2021) will be George Harrison, and Campbell Wallace, a young 20-year-old actor who doesn’t even have a Wikipedia page, will be Ringo Star.
Meanwhile, the lead role of Brian Epstein falls on actor Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, who despite having previous work on television series for the BBC, catapulted his career playing Townes in the Netflix hit. Lady’s Gambit (The Queen’s Gambit, 2020).
Midas Man is a biographical film that explores the life of manager Brian Epstein. The representative of what is considered the most influential band of all time died of a sedative overdose when he was 32 years old.
Along with the revelation of the cast, British media released the first photographs of the filming. In them, the four beatles are seen rehearsing in the emblematic Abby Road studios, north of the London capital.
Chronologically, the photographs date back to 1962, when The Beatles were already a phenomenon with hits like “Love me do” and “Please please me.”
Midas Man It does not yet have a release date, but it could happen at the end of 2022 or until 2023, since the filming of the film began only in October 2021.
