Until Wednesday morning, an alert for strong storms and winds remained in force in much of the province of Córdoba. It stopped, but another continues due to winds for Thursday afternoon.
According to the report of the early warning system of the National Meteorological Service, “the area will be affected by winds from the southern sector with speeds between 25 and 45 km / h, with gusts that can reach 70 km / h.”
The alert fully includes most of the departments of the Cordovan territory, in others it is partial, while some are not reached by it.
The alert includes in full for Thursday afternoon General Roca, Juárez Celman, President Roque Saenz Peña, Unión, Marcos Juárez, General San Martín, Río Cuarto, Tercero Arriba, Calamuchita, San Javier, San Alberto, Santa María, Río Segundo, San Justo, Capital, Colón, Río Primero, Pocho, and Totoral.
In part, the wind alert for Thursday covers the departments of Minas (southeast) and Cruz del Eje (South).
The Tulumba, Río Seco and Sobremonte departments, that is, the extreme north of the province, are not included in the alert.
