The Municipality of Corrientes informs that as of this Thursday and until Tuesday 19 the quotas are extended to process a shift for the visit to the San Juan Bautista and San Isidro de Laguna Brava cemeteries, for Mother’s Day. In addition, a security system was set up with Guardia Urbana personnel and with the collaboration of the Corrientes Police.
Those who wish to visit their deceased relatives should enter the Municipality’s page (Sistemas.ciudaddecorrientes.gov.ar/turnos/) to request the respective shift or call 0800-5555-6864. The hours available from Thursday to Tuesday will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Secretary of Government Coordination Hugo Calvano indicated, “We have already been working with shifts with reduced quotas, but when this date arrives, families come to remind their mothers that they are no longer there, so we have decided to expand that quota so that the older number of neighbors can attend the cemeteries ”.
“The way to obtain the turn is as we had previously developed it, which is by accessing the web tour of the Municipality’s page or by calling 0800-5555-6864. The device is the one that we already use on other special dates accompanied by Urban Guard and Health personnel, with due control of the distance and the temperature will be taken, so that we continue to take care of each other and be able to make the journey that each group take turns in the best way ”, clarified Calvano.
“We recommend that the neighbors not handle things, not leave vases or containers with water to put the flowers because that is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, it must be with sand that they have in cemeteries. In addition, they must use the chinstrap, which is still mandatory on public roads and more so for this type of activity ”, he recalled.
The coordinator of the Directorate of Deaths, Federico Ferreyra, explained that to avoid crowds and continuing with the protocols, “a total of 50 people were arranged per shift, with a duration of 30 minutes, leaving another 15 minutes for them to leave, leaving room to the next shift ”.
It should be remembered that visits to cemeteries by the shift system is enabled every day, including weekends and holidays.
Likewise, the official indicated that in the vicinity of both cemeteries there will be the presence of traffic agents who will organize the entry of vehicles and will also have the collaboration of the Corrientes Police, to guarantee the safety of the neighbors. Meanwhile, inside the cemeteries there will be Guardia Urbana workers organizing people and avoiding crowds.
In turn, for the personal health admission, he will take the temperature and sanitize his hands with alcohol gel. In addition, the use of a chinstrap is mandatory and the respective distance must be maintained.
