The candidate of the National Rally (RN) unveiled this Saturday a campaign clip shot on the site of the Louvre Museum. However, no permission was granted.
She wanted to attack the symbol of the one who beat her five years ago. Marine Le Pen is, this Saturday, January 15, a little more launched in the race for the Élysée, by broadcasting a speech recorded in the enclosure of the Napoleon court and in front of the pyramid of the Louvre. This is where Emmanuel Macron celebrated his victory in 2017.
Collapse of the country, downgrading of the French: it was at the Louvre that Emmanuel Macron’s five-year term began.
To reconnect with a collective destiny and a great national project, do not wait for the presidential election: do it!

However, this video was not to the liking of the cultural institution. Like Eric Zemmour’s campaign clip, in which the Louvre pyramid appears, the museum asked for the removal of the video of the far-right candidate. Like the Reconquest candidate, Marine Le Pen is liable to prosecution in the event of refusal.
“We belong to all the French people”
“We cannot be the identity of a party, of a claim”, explained the museum on the site of the Parisian. According to the daily, Marine Le Pen and her team were informed of this on January 11, during the filming of the video on the Louvre site. The management of the museum had expressly requested that the clip not be broadcast.
For the French institution, however, the request of the 2022 presidential candidate would never have been accepted, due to the political nature of the clip.
