Disney + launched the official trailer and poster for The Beatles : Get Back, a six-hour documentary series broadcast in three episodes and directed by Peter Jackson.
This series, let us remember, plunges into the heart of the working sessions of the members of the famous quartet in January 1969 while they were working on the recording of the pieces from the album. Let It Be.
To do this, Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings) had privileged access to some 60 hours of previously unreleased footage that was originally taken for the creation of the documentary Let It Be de Michael Lindsay-Hogg.
Unlike Lindsay-Hogg’s documentary which depicts one of the heaviest atmosphere within the group, Peter Jackson lingers on happier, more inspired moments, which allows for a new reading of this pivotal period in history. of the group.
The documentary includes the entire famous concert on the roof of the Savile Row building in London, which was the Beatles’ very last live performance. We also heard songs from the last two Fab Four albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be.
The documentary premieres on Disney + on November 25, 26 and 27.
