Nico Rosberg takes delivery of his Rimac Nevera

Rimac is launching deliveries of its hypercar, and one of the first customers to receive the Nevera is none other than former Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg. He was welcomed by Mate Rimac himself, who took advantage of Rosberg’s visit to introduce him to his new factory.

The two men discussed at length before dwelling on the Rimac Nevera commanded by Nico Rosberg. Among other things, they talked about the Bugatti Chiron, Mate Rimac did not go through four paths and declared that “it’s one of the last with the W16 engine”. We knew the next Bugatti would be heavily electrified, it is now clear that it will also have significantly fewer cylinders than the Chiron.

Mate Rimac complained about the plastic key to his hypercar. He would have preferred it to be made of metal or carbon, but unfortunately these materials block the signal. Nico Rosberg slipped into the seat of his new car and listened carefully to Mate Rimac’s explanations. This video allows us to learn more about the Nevera.

This model is of course 100% electric, it develops a total power of 1914 hp and 2360 Nm of torque. He is able to accelerate 0 to 100 km/h in 1.97 seconds and spin at a maximum speed of 412 km/h. This car is produced in a limited series, only 150 units will be assembled. Its sale price is 2 million euros.

The Rimac Nevera has a battery of 120 kWh and announces a range of 550 km according to the WLTP cycle. According to the manufacturer, it would be able to recharge its battery from 0 to 80% in 22 minutes on a fast terminal.

Nico Rosberg has promised that he will shoot another video in which he and Mate Rimac will try out this extraordinary device.
