Google Play launches program with courses for creating indie games

Developers must apply by July 1st

This Wednesday (22), the Google Play open enrollment for the program Indie Games Accelerator, focused on courses for creating indie games. The experience lasts 10 weeks and is intended for developers looking to leverage their business or for new talent just entering the field.

According to Google information, the new program is open to more than 70 countries, including Brazil. with about 40 hours of mentoring, participants will have direct contact with the greatest experts in the field of game development.

The company also states that to participate in the courses, the developer must be self-employed or represent a company with up to 50 employees, and of course, be at least 18 years old. It is important to note that the user must be registered on Google Play as a developer, have a game already released or in development at the time of registration.
