NHTSA, the US federal highway safety agency, writes:
The brake fluid reservoir cap may not bleed properly, creating a vacuum inside the brake fluid reservoir and causing a brake fluid leak which may lead to partial or total loss of brake function .

Ferrari is preparing to send letters to US owners as early as September 24, 2022. It is requested that the Ferrari be taken to a dealership so that a technician can replace the brake fluid reservoir cap. This operation is of course free for customers.
It is worth remembering that in April 2022, the manufacturer issued a similar recall in China where 2222 models had to be inspected. Long before, in October 2021, Ferrari announced that 9,985 vehicles had to be checked in the USA because of a brake fluid leak.
These inconveniences did not prevent Ferrari from achieving a record second quarter. Its sales increased by 28.7% and his turnover increased by 24.9%. Everything therefore seems to be going well for Ferrari, which is preparing the arrival of the Purosangue whose deliveries will begin next year.
