Deutsche Bahn and DHL are launching a practical parcel service: customers can now look forward to this

Deutsche Bahn is launching a new parcel service together with Deutsche Post DHL. As the “Lebensmittel Zeitung” reported, retailers will in future be able to deliver their items directly to the Packstations in and at train stations. As part of a new cooperation, around 800 additional DHL Packstations will be made available at train stations throughout Germany. The majority of the machines are scheduled to be connected to the network before the end of this year.

The deliverer for the new “Box – Die Abholstation” service is irrelevant. Around a third of the available subjects will be made available for the new click-and-collect offer. The first new Packstation for the service was inaugurated at Leipzig Central Station. With 241 compartments, it is one of the largest machines in Germany for conveniently receiving and sending parcels.
