The Pininfarina Battista was presented in 2019, but until then we did not know its performance. The Italian manufacturer has just revealed them and announces that its Hyper GT is breaking records.
In effect, this electric sports car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.86 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 4.79 seconds! Accelerating is good, braking is better. For this, Pininfarina has carried out tests to verify that its model is capable of losing a lot of speed in a short time in the event of strong demand from the left pedal. Pininfarina is proud to announce that its electric vehicle has the fastest braking in the world with a 100-0 km/h in just 31 meters..
“Perfectly optimized weight distribution and a low center of gravity are at the heart of this result. The combination of a bespoke chassis and suspension, tires proven by thousands of test miles and a Vector of four-motor torque delivering unprecedented power makes Battista the fastest road-legal car in the world,” said Paolo Dellacha, Head of Product and Engineering at Automobili Pininfarina.
The Pininfarina Battista has just landed in the Middle East, more precisely, in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Customers ready to pay the tidy sum were able to admire the dynamic performance of the sports car on the track of the Dubai Autodrome.
“Battista’s incredible technical package includes a carbon ceramic braking system, which enables the Italian hyper GT to become the fastest braking electric car in the world. Our discerning customers here in the UAE have been blown away by the Battista’s driving experience, which is as breathtaking as its award-winning design”added Paolo Dellacha.
To refresh your memory, the Battista develops 1900 hp and 2340 Nm of torque. Its selling price is still 2.2 million euros! It will only be assembled in 150 copies.
