Strong collision between a taxi and a remis: two people were hospitalized

Two people had to be hospitalized after there was a strong collision between a taxi and a remis around the last midnight, at the corner of Tierra del Fuego and Libertad.

As the wording of Compass 24, one of the cars was a Chevrolet Prisma remis, driven by Oscar Peralta, 42, who was carrying 26-year-old Isabela Arias as a passenger.

The taxi was a Toyota Etios from the Taxi Ya company, and it was driven by 48-year-old Mauro Morandi. Her passengers were identified as María Noel Copeiro, 43, and Morena Apolo, 18.

Those who were traveling in the first vehicle were taken to a hospital by an ambulance from Always. In principle, the driver was unconscious after the impact, while the passenger suffered a cervical trauma.

From the taxi, one of the passengers, surnamed Copeiro, was treated on the spot without having to be referred to a health center.

Three ambulances from Siempre worked in the incident, volunteer firefighters from Ingeniero White, a police mobile from the Patrol Command, Traffic Control personnel, and members of the Civil Defense guard.
