The Brazilians Tiago Quevedo and Breno Kneipp had a great day, this Saturday (6th), at the Junior World Cup of the 49er sailing class, held in Lake Como, Italy. The pair managed to be among the top three in two races and ended the day in third place overall in the competition. The competition ends this Sunday (7) with the dispute of the last races of the golden flotilla.
Tiago and Breno had achieved a good climb on Friday, ending the day in seventh place. In the first regatta of the day, the Brazilians were in third place. Tiago and Breno were only behind the Australians Jack Ferguson and Max Paul and the Swedes Philip Linblad and Alexander Broson.
In the second race this Saturday, the vessel from Brazil finished in second place. Tiago and Breno arrived after the Belgians Arthur de Jonghe and Jan Heuninck, who are far from contention for the medals

In the general classification, Tiago Quevedo and Breno Kneipp are in third place with 56 points lost. Poles Mikołaj Staniul and Kuba Sztorch lead with 35 pp. Australians Ferguson and Paul are second with 46 pp.
