The signing is no stranger. However, the fans of the Kiel U 23 have not yet been able to get an idea of Lengle’s playing skills. Due to the corona pandemic, the 2020/21 season was canceled and Lengle, who was signed in December 2020, has not yet been able to play for the North Germans. Now, however, a fresh start is to be made at a well-known site.

“Samuel is a committed player who can be used flexibly and can play both in defensive midfield and in central defence. He also has a secure passing game and a high pace,” said Finn Jaensch, sporting director of the youth academy club website.

The defensive player enjoyed his training at TSG Hoffenheim and also made his first experiences in the men’s division there. In total, Lengle played 55 times in the regional league for FCA and TSG. The 22-year-old also played for the U16s to U19s for the DFB junior national teams.
