“Winning a medal in this situation proves how good we really are and that you can count on us, even if we play without the numbers 1, 2 and 3,” said Nina Mittelham, who like Sabine Winter and Chantel Mantz her individual won confidently. In the round of the last four, the DTTB team will meet the strong Portuguese or the Ukraine on Saturday.

The DTTB team, which had to do without the Tokyo trio Petrissa Solja, Han Ying and Shan Xiaona, had already reached its target by reaching the quarter-finals and secured qualification for the 2022 World Cup.
