Ranking stage leader, the men’s compound arch team entered the dispute in the semifinals. Against Canada, the team won by 146 to 134. In the final, they had a much tougher opponent, the United States, and achieved a great comeback. Brazil was behind the scoreboard in the first three sets and got the turnaround in the last one, winning by a difference of one point: 151 to 150.

Only four teams competed in the tournament’s knockout round for women’s teams in the women’s composite arc. Second in the ranking phase, Brazil beat Mexico in the semifinal by 143 to 135. In the final, they had a surprise ahead: Chile, who defeated the United States in the semifinal. Jane and Helena were perfect in the decision and won easily, by 147 to 124.

Who needed to win just one fight to take the gold was the men’s team in the W1 category. Hélcio Perilo and Eugênio Franco were in first place in the ranking and, as the tournament has only three teams, they were directly guaranteed in the final. There, they faced the United States and were superior, winning by 143 to 133.
