The teams from Senegal and Guinea gave un new step towards the round of 16 of the African Cup which is played in Cameroon after drawing 0-0 this Friday in a gray match between both teams.
Neither the Senegalese nor the Guineans managed to generate clear scoring chances and when they did, they lacked the skill to materialize them.
This happened after 31 minutes of play in a shot by Guinean striker Morgan Guilavogui, who was unable to beat Senegalese goalkeeper Seny Dieng.
Neither was the Senegalese defender Abdou Diallo, a Paris Saint-Germain player, who saw how in the 56th minute the Guinean goalkeeper Aly Keita cleared his header for a corner with a good intervention.
More misguided was his teammate Bouna Sarr, who culminated with a shot that deflected a great pass from Sadio Mané, a Liverpool player, in the 67th minute of the game.
The errors condemned both teams to a draw that will allow Senegal, who defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 on the first day, and Guinea, who won their debut in the tournament 1-0 against Malui, to keep the first two places from group B with a total of four points.
