Savoy. Covid-19: the incidence rate exceeds 200 cases, the obligation to wear a mask is back

It was predictable. The prefect of the Savoie, Pascal Bolot, decided to strengthen measures health, faced with the rapid deterioration of the health situation in the department. The incidence rate there fell from 122 last week, to 217 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at the start of the week.

The obligation to wear a mask is therefore making a comeback in many places. The objective: to limit the spread of the virus to “allow the winter season and end of year celebrations to take place in good conditions. “

The back mask, outside and inside

The mask is therefore mandatory again outside :

  • within a radius of 50 meters around schools, at the arrival and departure times of students from train and bus stations, outdoor spaces of shopping centers, places of worship at the time of services and ceremonies;
  • in any rally, demonstration, meeting or activity organized on the public highway;
  • in places of festivals and shows;
  • in markets, flea markets and unpacking sales;
  • in the queues

The mask is also de rigueur inside establishments open to the public, subject to the health pass, namely:

– rooms for hearings, conferences, meetings;
– marquees, tents and structures;
– concert and performance halls;
– cinemas;
– sports establishments, closed and covered;
– gaming rooms, escape-games, casinos;
– fairs and exhibitions;
– museums and temporary exhibition halls;
– libraries;
– outdoor establishments (stadiums, etc.)

This obligation does not apply people with disabilities with a medical certificate, people practicing physical or sporting activity in the open air, people traveling inside private vehicles or users of two wheels.

Six vaccination centers open

The prefect also recalls, especially for people who must receive their third dose of vaccine, that 6 vaccination centers are set up in Savoie: in Chambéry, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Albertville, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Aix-les-Bains and Moûtiers.

It is also possible to be vaccinated by your doctor or pharmacist.
