Renault reported that it interrupted the sale of its Kwid model in Argentina, due to problems in imports, due to restrictions that prevent it from entering the country.
“Attentive to the availability problems generated by import restrictions and with the aim of promoting nationally manufactured vehicles, we were forced to make the decision to temporarily discontinue the import and sale of the Kwid model in our country”, the spokesmen of the French brand told Clarín.
The Kwid was the cheapest model offered by the French company in Argentina, as well as one of the best sellers, although due to the lack of availability of models, patenting began to decrease.
What will happen to those who adhere to the Rombo Plan?
From the company they reported that “all the people who had an active Kwid plan are automatically migrated to a Sandero plan, a range with larger dimensions, better motorization and more comfort equipment “.
As explained from the company, those who had requested a Kwid will be billed for the Sandero, at no additional cost to what they had been paying.
