A few months after launching the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer has renewed this family of phones with the launch of a new model that completes the mid-range. It is the Realme 8i, a device that offers features from higher ranges at one of the most affordable prices on the current market.
Among some of its most noteworthy features is the premiere of the latest MediaTek processor or its screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, all at a price of 199 euros. We are going to see the rest of the details that this device hides.
The phone is very similar in appearance to the 8 and 8 Pro models, with a glass-finished back and a square-shaped camera module. Its screen is a 6.6-inch LCD with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and FullHD + resolution. It also offers a touch refresh rate up to 180 Hz, making it perfect for playing games.
Inside the Realme 8i we find the Helio G96 processor that, on paper, gives it enough performance to perform all kinds of tasks, even the most demanding. The processor is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, although there is a version with 128 GB of storage. It also offers an additional 5GB of virtual RAM and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Regarding the cameras, it mounts a triple rear with 50 MP f / 1.8 and two 2 MP sensors, one for portraits and the other for light capture. The front camera is 16 MP. The device is not compatible with 5G networks, but it does have Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
This phone arrives in Spain for a price of 199 euros in purple and black. At the moment we do not know its availability in other countries.
