Puerto Rican cultural center of Chicago donated food to Cuban trans network

The Puerto Rican cultural center in Chicago donated food to the Cuban trans network to support the most vulnerable people residing in the provinces of Havana, Matanzas, Pinar del Río and Cienfuegos.

“We want to thank the Puerto Rican cultural center of Chicago for the donation of supplies to deliver to 120 trans people from Transcuba Habana; 26 people from Transcuba Matanzas; 24 trans people from Transcuba Cienfuegos and 24 trans people from Transcuba Pinar del Río ”, reports the Facebook profile of the Transcuba Nacional group, linked to the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX) that directs Mariela Castro Espin, daughter of Raul castro.

The publication in the network details that foods such as compotes, juices, mayonnaise, fruit cocktail or strawberry jam, chickpeas or white beans and sausages were delivered, which are of national production.

The association assured in the social network that “we are waiting for other support and we will be sending it to other provinces of the country.”

According to the information in the profile of the trans network, this association was created to represent the needs and interests of trans people in the network, aimed at training, education and information, promotion and prevention of sexual health with emphasis on STI / HIV AIDS .
